Another one of those images that pulled me in. Gabi is always a ray of sunshine even when she isn’t on a lilo. This one is A3 acrylic – the first painting to come out of my new Wednesday painting group down in Brighton with the wonderful Denise Harrison.

Molly Lemon and Winnie

Sometimes you see an image on Instagram and it just demands to be painted… this is one of those. And it’s a tribute to Molly and her utterly delightful and exquisite woodcuts. 20 x 20 coloured pencil on Paint’On grey paper.

Zennor Evening

From a photograph taken in June 2023. A perfect Cornish evening, on the road to Zennor, just outside the Gurnard’s Head. The goldfinches flew away, but the golden light remained. A5 study in gouache on grey paper.
